Trim Trail Opening 6th September 2008

 

On the 6th of September the Trim Trail officially opened at 1pm  at Cameron Drive and activities included :

 

Bird Box/Bat Box Installation

BTCV Scotland Drystane Sitting area

BTCV Scotland Bulb Planting

BTCV Scotland native Tree Planting.

 

 

The trim trail offers 12 different fitness equipment stations to tone the body, on a circular loop which wanders through a 5 year old deciduous native woodland,  planted  by East  Ayrshire Woodlands. The trail also connects to two other local trails for those who want to explore the outdoors for longer distances and enters recently establishes woodlands, but passes by a pristine burn with amazing wildlife.
